Duties and Responsibilities
- Excel in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and communicate daily with multiple customers and work on multiple files.
- Convert daily the multiple live, qualified inbound leads into full and complete 1003 applications.
- Build solid customer relationships with existing and potential borrowers by meeting customer needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Analyze customers’ financial situations and advise customers as to the best loan product for their financial goals and needs.
- Structure and price loans accurately.
- Lock loans at point of sale, request initial documents from the customer, and submit an initial loan package to operations.
- Analyze loan documentation for pre-qualification of purchase clients.
- Attend loan closings, when possible.
- Leverage GHF Lead Source and Marketing support.
- Ability to work in the evening and on Saturdays, as required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Desired Competencies
- 0-2 years of experience as a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator, Loan Officer Assistant, Sales, or equivalent.
- NMLS licensing is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
